Privacy policy
By becoming a member, you accept our privacy policy.
Note that we collect names and emails. Billing and payment information is processed by Stripe or PayPal as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
Emails and Newsletter
Some emails, such as confirmation of purchase, invoice, upgrade/cancellation, and other emails are sent directly from this site, facilitated by the MemberPress plugin.
When you become a member, your email is automatically sent to Kit—my newsletter service—so you’ll receive my regular and member-only newsletters. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Membership Terms
Please note the following membership terms carefully.
Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly Membership Terms
Your membership gives you access based on the term that you chose during signup.
Your membership renews at the end of your term automatically (monthly, quarterly, or yearly, depending on the membership term you chose during sign-up) using your original payment method.
There are no refunds on subscriptions, but you can cancel or change your subscription on your account page anytime: https://members.thesideblogger.com/account/
Lifetime Membership Terms
No recurring payments after the initial payment. A “lifetime” membership is valid for as long as this platform/website exists: https://members.thesideblogger.com
Access Rules (for Core Members)
Note that different content types have different access rules.
Access to the courses
Members can access the courses any time, regardless of when they join the Vault.
Access to the Field Notes
Field Notes have forward-only access rules. Meaning, members get access to only the future issues, and NOT past issues.
For example, if you join the vault on January 31, you’ll have access to the Field Notes issue that comes out on February 1. But if you join the Vault on February 1, after the February issue goes live, then your first issue of the Field Notes will be the March issue.
Access to Mastery Playbooks and Events
Some Mastery Playbooks have the same forward-only access as Field Notes.
Others may be accessed at all times.
Access to the [Anthill] Community
Community access is a privilege, not a right or a core feature of your membership. To remain in the community, you must abide by community guidelines and rules, which are different from the general membership terms and rules.
Please refer to community rules here (you need to join the community to see these rules). Breaking these rules may disqualify you from staying inside the community, even if your Vault membership continues.
Single Purchase Terms
Note these terms if you bought courses or workshops (outside the membership).
Courses: If you bought a course or a bundle of courses with a lifetime access level, then all sales are final, and you will not be charged for those courses again. No refunds are allowed.
Workshops: If you bought a workshop, you’ll have access until the workshop duration. All sales are final, and you will not be charged for those courses again. No refunds are allowed.
Refunds & Cancellations
Memberships:
Memberships and subscriptions are not refundable. However, you can cancel your membership at any time. Once you cancel, you will not be charged again, and your membership will expire at the end of the current billing period.
To cancel, go to “Account” > “Subscriptions,” click the three-dot menu next to your subscription, and then click “Cancel.”
Single course purchases:
No refunds.
If you change your mind after purchase and wish to hop on the membership instead, you’ll still need to pay the full membership price.

I offer complimentary email support to members.
This is not a core part of your membership. You’re not paying for this service. I’m offering it as a complimentary service when and if I can.

Community Etiquette
Be respectful in the community or outside of it, to fellow members and toward me.
Harassment of any kind will result in the termination of your membership.
